ANNOUNCEMENT
The University of Illinois has transitioned to a new applicant tracking system called HireTouch, which provides a more streamlined, user-friendly interface for completing Civil Service applications. If you have previously submitted an online employment application for a Civil Service position at the University, that information has been transferred to the new system.
Academic Professional should apply to specific job positions based on the instructions in the job posting. All Medical Center employees will need to complete an online application.
To submit or make changes to a Civil Service application, please select the appropriate campus:
If you wish to apply for Civil Service employment on more than one campus, you will need to submit an application to each campus. Your User Name and Password can be utilized for all campus HireTouch sites.
Note for current University employees who previously submitted an application through the old system (prior to July 28, 2008), and have not yet accessed the new system: You will no longer login using bluestem (netID). You should have instead received an email with your new user name and password. If you did not receive this information, you will need to contact the appropriate campus Human Resources office for your userID and password - Urbana (217) 333-2137; Chicago (312) 996-0840; Springfield (217) 206-6652. After the initial login, you will be prompted to change your password for future use. Your user name will remain the same.
